Pilgrimage to Lapchi If anyone is interested in travelling to Lapchi, the journey starts from Kathmandu (Nepal). The bus lives around 5 and 6 am from Kathmandu (Nepal) to a small village called Lamabagar by bus. It takes exactly 12 hours to reach the current destination. There is no means of transportation from Lamabarger to Lapchi. So, all pilgrims do their leftover journey by walk. After reaching at Lamabarger, one has to stay for one night in a hotel or in relatives’ home as the walking journey starts from the next morning. Today is our first day of journey to Lapchi from Lamabarger. Let’s hope for the successful and fruitful journey. Are those people are moving to Lamabarger or Lapchi? 1st Day These are my comrade where we have to travel by boat for about 20 minutes. As you can see this dam which is the biggest hydropower in Nepal known as Upper Tamakoshi Hydropower. Please go slowly! From this place, the upcoming roads are dreadful that pilgrims have to go by rope to reach on the top of the mountain. Oh My God, the roads are so scary! If a person wants to achieve the happiness, one has to work hard. I have to give upon my life for this atrocious journey. this road seems scary no Tenzin. In early days, this road was much scarier than today. This man is one of the popular leaders of Dolhka district. His name is Sanjeev oli and today he is going to look after the living conditions of Lapchi’s people and its place. Now we have reached halfway. At this point, those labours are making a newly road towards Lapchi’ for better convenience to pilgrims. Right now, we have reached at hydropower camp and we are about to have our lunch. Now we have reached to Numnang village after one day walk from Lamabarger village. 2nd Day
