Double ka Meetha Serves: 5-6 persons Recipe in English: Ingredients: -Bread slices 10 large (cut in square) -Ghee for frying -Doodh (Milk) 2 Cups -Khoa crumbled ½ Cup -Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp -Zafran (Saffron) ¼ tsp -Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Cup -Pani (Water) 1 Cup -Khao -Badam (Almonds) -Pista (Pistachio) Directions: -In frying pan,add ghee and let it melt,add bread slices and fry from both sides until golden brown & set aside. -In pot,add milk and bring it to boil,add khoa and mix well. -Add cardamom powder and saffron,mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes & set aside. -In pot,add sugar and water,mix well and cook until sugar dissolves. -Turn off the flame,add fried bread pieces and let it soak for 10 minutes and turn carefully. -Turn on the flame,add prepared milk,mix well and cook on medium flame for 8-10 minutes. -Garnish with khoa,almonds,pistachio & serve. Recipe in Urdu: Ajza: -Bread slices 10 large (cut in square) -Ghee for frying -Doodh (Milk) 2 Cups -Khoa crumbled ½ Cup -Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) ½ tsp -Zafran (Saffron) ¼ tsp -Cheeni (Sugar) 1 Cup -Pani (Water) 1 Cup -Khao -Badam (Almonds) -Pista (Pistachio) Directions: -Frying pan mein ghee dal ker garam karein aur bread slices dal ker dono sides sa golden brown hunay tak fry ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Pot mein doodh dal ker ubal lein aur khoa dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Elaichi powder aur zafran dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein & side per rakh dein. -Pot mein cheeni aur pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur cheeni ghul janay tak paka lein. -Chulha bund ker dein aur fried bread pieces dal ker 10 minutes soak hunay kliya chor dein aur carefully turn ker lein. -Chulha on karein aur tayyar doodh dal ker mix karein aur darmiyani ancch per 8-10 minutes. -Khoa,badam aur pista sa garnish ker ka serve karein.
