This video demonstrates docking process (thoracic part) in real time for robotic assisted 3 stage esophagectomy (McKeown). Da Vinci Xi robotic platform is used for the surgery. Patient is given semiprone position. Patient cart is coming from the right of the patient. Have used 4 robotic port and 1 assistant port for the thoracic phase of the procedure. Usual docking time for any procedure in well experienced units are sub 5 minutes. Appreciate the position of the patient cart, angle of the boom after rotation and placement of robotic arms prior to docking.
