♡⋆. 𐙚 ˚ I would like to remind y'all that harassing,stalking, threatening, anyone online is illegal. I will take it to the court again if I need to. If you're the person I have a restraining order against and are choosing to continue harassing me, you are violating the restraining order and also can be found since you intentionally evaded police when they served you, lying about your whereabouts. ♡I am really scared to make this video, but I feel I need to since I have gotten a lot of followers and have been able to progress as a content creator and musician because of it. ♡I want to uplift the individuals who are speaking out against Melanie, not only Timothy Heller, but the many other ex-fans who are now of age to understand the harmful images/themes that were being fed to us. ♡If you're frontal lobe hasn't developed tbh I don't want to hear from you until you can recognize the harm that Melanie has done to entire generations. The lack of accountability that she seems to have (or lack I guess) shows how much she hasn't grown as a person. ♡Her fans will do anything and everything to defend her even resulting in illegal actions. Some of her younger fans are severely mentally ill and say horrible and awful things. I've said my fair share of harmful things and I have apologized and work continually to do better. Her fans are so blinded by the "love" parasocial relationship they have with her they fail to see the trauma bond. ♡Art is so subjective and I 100% believe that art is meant to comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable. HOWEVER, that does not mean I think that children should be depicted in innapropriate ways. I love art that is challenging and makes people think about certain issues like abortion or rape /sexual assault because these are issues that tend to get hushed. But the way that Melanie consistently describes herself when she writes this music as a "Fanatasy" or to add "whimsical" elements to her story is really strange. ♡Adding a child getting kidnapped is not "whimsical". Poisoning your abductor (a real thing people go through) is NOT whimsical. She also says she "enjoys" writing these things. Personally, I find that very odd as like she says herself are topics that are hard to discuss. ♡I say all of this being a very die hard ex fan. Anyone who knew me knew that I loved Melanie Martinez. I followed her since I saw her on the voice. She inspired me to do music in highschool. She was one of my biggest influences.
