The farmers had assembled to protest Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya’s visit to Banbirpur. Banbirpur is the native village of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Misra Teni, the MP from Lakhimpur Kheri.
