Today we speak of the Sea Peoples's infantries and more specifically of thoseof the Peleset, a people of uncertain origin (probably Indo-European), which from the Aegean expanded later by land in Anatolia and partly under the Egyptian aegis in the Near East, becoming fierce enemies of the Jews (the Philistines would be not others but the same Peleset). In the video we deal in general terms the military culture of the Peleset and their fiercely aggressive character both from a strategic and tactical point of view: excellent navigators but also great terrestrial fighters, they sowed terror along the coasts of the Mediterranean, fighting against the Pharaohs but also being appreciated by the same as mercenaries in their armies.
