Missing Cypriots: Cyprus conflict left thousands missing

Thousands of people have been killed on Cyprus during inter-communal violence in the 1960s and in the 1970s when Turkey intervened to try to protect the Turkish Cypriot population. But officially the remains or whereabouts of 2,000 of those people were never discovered. So the Committee On Missing Persons was set up by the UN with the Greek and Turkish Cypriot communities to try to trace all these people. So far they've only found about a third - but their work continues. The remains of 33 Turkish Cypriots were buried last month. Andrew Hopkins of TRT World reports.
