A deadly landslide has potentially caused more than 1,000 fatalities, resulting in the deaths of everyone but one person in a large Sudan village called Tarasin. This occurred at the GPS coordinates of: 13.017, 24.389, and involved 14 separate landslides in a small area. Today's video will analyze this slide as a geologist, and discuss its relation to rock units of the nearby Jebel Marra volcano.
