VIPColor VP650e + Mini-Digi ® extreme durable label printing - Labels-U-Print ® - KTEC GROUP UK

We show how to print highly durable labels using our low cost plain self-adhesive label roll and the VP650e with the new Niagara water resist ink. Then optionally apply a clear laminate for extreme durability and cut to any shape or size using the Mini-Digi® label laminator / cutter / finisher. We are first using our supported VIPColor high speed digital label printer in a roll-to-roll configuration. The roll of printed images is then passed to our Mini-Digi ® automated finishing machine. The Mini-Digi ® first optionally applies a clear laminate layer to protect the labels. Then the machine digitally cuts out the labels following the cut line planned. The cut line can be square, rectangle and any size or shape needed. The waste is removed and the label roll trimmed to the width required. It's possible to print more than one lane of label images where the label width is small so to fit one, two, three or four across on the roll. The Mini-Digi ® will slit the cut labels into separate rolls in one pass. Compatible with Adobe Illustrator and also Corel Draw (free plug in for finishing), we also show the use of BarTender label software in the video being used to controlling the printing of front and back product labels in sequence. BarTender can also add variable data to the background images like for example, barcodes, expiry dates, batch numbers and serial numbering.
