DDADU to Implement New Auto Fare Chart in 2026; Violators to Be Strictly Penalised.

Dimapur District Autorickshaw Drivers Union is set to implement a new auto fare chart from next year, 2026. According to the Auto Union President, the revised chart was finalised after three years of continuous meetings and consultations. The fare chart will be distributed to every household along with daily newspapers to ensure the public is well-informed. The President further urged all auto drivers, both local and non-local, to strictly wear the prescribed uniform and carry their ID cards at all times. He warned that any driver found overcharging passengers will face strict action, including the seizure of their ID, uniform, and driving license.
