Until now, we had multiple skilled occupation lists — the Medium to Long-Term Strategic List (MLTSSL), Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), Regional Occupation List (ROL), and CSOL. But now, Jobs and Skills Australia has released this new Occupation Shortage List (OSL) — and shockingly, many occupations have been marked as “not in shortage”, including Registered Nurse (NEC)! 🏥 The big question everyone’s asking: 👉 Will this new OSL replace the existing lists like CSOL for 482 and 186 visas? 👉 Will future invitations be based on OSL instead of the current lists? ⚠️ As of now, there’s no official confirmation from the Department — but this could mean major changes ahead for skilled migration planning.
