13 years ago, Tom was browsing Facebook marketplace when he came across a 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS. It was in a nearby town, sitting a barn, missing the floor pans, doors, windows. Tom took it home and started building. Initially, he wanted something quick to drive on the streets, but he just couldn't stop himself, and ended up building the monster you see today. #carshow #camaro #racecar The Camaro features a 572 Big Block V-8 with a 10:71 blower and a 300hp shot of nitrous oxide. That power is put through a 400 Turbo Trans with a 4,500rpm stall converter, then to a Ford 9 inch rear end and out to the meaty Hoosier slicks. The Camaro can be scary at times, producing 2,000 horsepower. We caught up with Tom at the 2024 World of Wheels in Indianapolis, Indiana.
