Diana Pazmino’s love of and for the ocean stems from her childhood spent on the island of Isabella in the Galapagos Archipelago. Astounded at the fact that so many children could not swim she was determined to action change. Taking her snorkelling skills learnt from her father and her knowledge of the ocean from her profession, she set up the Gills Club to teach young girls to swim as well as to learn about what lives in the sea, all aside from her daily work. Diana explains what the Gills Club is, introduces us to past and present members, as well as learning from the parents about the positive impact it has had on their children.
