Truk Odyssey 2014. The wreck divers paradise!

Truk Lagoon is described as a mecca for wreck divers and thats 100% accurate. It's often said there are two types of divers in this world. Those that have been to Truk Lagoon and those that aspire to go there. It is a magical place for everyone from the avid wreck diver to the underwater photographer. The wrecks are living reefs covered in corals and schools of fish, it does however come with a caution as some of the wrecks are deep. In order to make the most of Truk, divers need experience in deep (30m+) recreational diving and a nitrox certification. A tech/decompression diver certification and experience is needed if you want to dive the handful of wrecks deeper than 40m. Its best to go with a group or at least a buddy you are familiar with and I love the Odyssey it's easy to see why it was voted the worlds best liveaboard so often.
