Progress includes adding shock absorbers, which are stock 1937 Ford units, but swapped front and rear so they fit in this application. Had to twist the front dog-bones. Also started adding front and rear turn signals/parking lights/ brake lights. The rear ones were advertised to me as off of a 1930's Hudson, but I don't know. Front ones are just cheap aftermarket motorcycle units. The body is more or less built and attached. 1/2" OD steel tube framework (brazed joints) covered by aircraft Dacron, 1/8" marine plywood parts at the stern, and 0.050" aluminum sheet for the cowl and hood panels. Brushed-on oil-based paint job. I'll paint the aluminum in time, as well.
