This afternoon, sharing the gospel in the town of Burton/Burton upon Trent with fellow evangelists. God is merciful and is knocking at your heart’s door today. He wants you to have a personal relationship with Him. God loves you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). No one is perfect, sin is sin, and it separates us from God. Still, the good news is that Jesus came to pay the penalty for your sin, so you would not have to perish, so you would not have to be separated from God and spend an eternity in Hell. Salvation is a free gift. We will all have to give an account of how we live our lives. We can’t go with our friends; it will be between us and God. We see the signs of the times and must repent and make our lives right with God. Tomorrow is not promised, and we may not get another chance. People fail us, but the bible says God never will I leave you; never will I forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). You may feel far away from God right now, but you are never too far away from God. God is calling you today. John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Hebrews 9:27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 10:13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
