In this concluding lecture of the series, Shaykh Mohamad Baajour explains the seventh and final condition of La ilaha illallah — the condition that completes all the others: Love (Al-Mahabbah) La ilaha illallah is not valid unless it is loved. Not just known. Not just spoken. Not just believed. It must be loved — deeply, sincerely, and above everything else. ❤️ What Does Loving La Ilaha Illallah Mean? It means: • Loving Allah above all else • Loving the Messenger of Allah ﷺ • Loving those who love and obey Allah • Loving righteousness, obedience, and closeness to Allah • Hating shirk, haram, and disobedience — not people, but the actions that displease Allah This love is not emotional slogans. It is proven by choices. ⚠️ Putting Allah First — The Real Test Shaykh Baajour highlights that many problems in the Ummah come from reversing priorities. Allah warns clearly in Surah At-Tawbah: If parents, children, spouses, wealth, businesses, homes, and comfort are more beloved than Allah, His Messenger, and striving in His cause — then a person is threatened with punishment and described as disobedient. This is serious. Loving Allah more means: • Refusing haram business even if it causes financial loss • Not obeying parents or family when they command haram • Never choosing desire, comfort, or people over Allah’s commands Love is shown when it costs you something. 🤍 True Faith & Loyalty Allah also tells us that true believers do not give loyalty or support to those who oppose Allah and His Messenger — even if they are close family. This does not mean hatred or injustice — it means loyalty belongs to Allah first. Real iman demands clarity. 📖 Evidence from Qur’an & Sunnah • The Qur’an states that believers love Allah more than anything else • The Prophet ﷺ said that tasting the sweetness of iman requires loving Allah and His Messenger more than anyone else • ʿUmar رضي الله عنه only reached complete iman when he loved the Prophet ﷺ more than himself This is the standard. 🕊️ Living & Dying on La Ilaha Illallah The lecture ends with a powerful reminder: You do not die upon La ilaha illallah by accident. You die upon what you lived for. Saying it at death is not easy unless it was practiced sincerely throughout life. That ability is tawfiq from Allah — and its reward is Jannah. 🌙 Final Message Loving La ilaha illallah is not poetry. It is: • priorities • loyalty • obedience • sacrifice Whoever loves Allah more than everything else will be given the sweetness of iman and eternal success in the Hereafter.
