Endoscopic Sinus Surgery for Sinonasal Inverted Papilloma Removal

This video demonstrates an endoscopic surgical approach for the removal of a sinonasal inverted papilloma. The tumor was located in the left nasal cavity, involving the maxillary sinus and ethmoid cells. Using angled endoscopes and powered instruments, we performed complete tumor excision under direct visualization. The tumor attachment site was carefully identified and resected. Wide maxillary antrostomy and anterior ethmoidectomy were performed to ensure complete removal and facilitate postoperative surveillance. Intraoperative frozen section confirmed the diagnosis of inverted papilloma, and no malignant transformation was noted. Endoscopic management offers excellent visualization, reduced morbidity, and favorable long-term outcomes in selected cases of sinonasal inverted papilloma.
