German M2000 Gas Mask

🇩🇪 German M2000 gas mask dated December of 2005 by MSA Auer lot 47847 size Medium. The M2000 mask was developed in the year 2000 as the name suggests as a replacement for the M65 series masks and is produced by both Dräger and Mine Safety Appliances Company but was originally Designed by MSA. The main users for the M2000 are, of course, Germany and Austria, but other users are Romania (extensively), Slovakia, and Slovenia. The M2000 kit would be the mask, bag, F2000 filter, Outserts, decontamination kit, hydration tube, and Camelbak adapter. A surprising fact about the M2000 is that it occasionally would have been produced in Black Butyl Rubber instead of the Bright Green Butyl Rubber, with these Black models being produced strictly for Slovakian Police use.
