The Elements are officially here! My first Pro 3 League game with the newly renamed team didn’t disappoint. Dizzy Gold lived up to the name—spinning pitches like the Knights were standing in a carnival ride. She racked up 13 strikeouts across 8 shutout innings before handing things over to Kimiko Iron, who slammed the door shut in the 9th. On offense, Crash Iodine launched a homer to spark the scoring, while the Elements piled up 11 hits and 4 runs against the Knights starter, who battled through 6 innings. But this game wasn’t just about the scoreboard. It was the debut of my first coach (defense-focused), the first time I noticed the Pro 3 League schedule gives back-to-back matchups against the same team, and also the first time Twitch decided to prank me by hiding the chat (don’t worry, it came back later).
