UK MOD accidentally sends CLASSIFIED emails meant for the US to Russian ally Mali

The Ministry of Defence has launched a probe after classified emails were accidentally sent to Mali, a state ally of Russia. The emails were meant to go to the US army. But instead of typing the domain name .MIL, the suffix for all US military emails, someone typed .ML, the identifier used for Mali. Defence officials say no information that could compromise operational security were contained in the emails. A similar mistake was revealed last week to have been made in the US.
