A court-mandated videography survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid-Shringar Gauri Temple complex was concluded on Monday. The report on the survey, which was held amid tight security, is expected to be submitted before a district court either today or tomorrow. As the survey concluded and officials including court-appointed commissioners emerged from the complex, chants of ‘Har Har Mahadev’ filled the air. Some from the Hindu side claimed ‘Baba mil gaye’, while others said ‘Baba ke darshan hua’, indicating the claims of the Hindu side may have been established. Subhash Nandan Chaturvedi, a lawyer from the Hindu side, also hinted that something substantial to establish their claims may have been found. ‘Baba prakat hue’ is what the lawyer told the media outside the complex. The commission tasked with the videography survey of the Gyanvapi Masjid complex here will on Tuesday seek additional time from a local court to submit its report as it is yet to be prepared, an official said.
