For the past three months, I’ve committed to training every single day, logging a minimum of 30 minutes to 3 hours daily. In this video, I share what that level of consistency has done for my mental health, discipline, and focus as a triathlete and where the line starts to blur between productive training and overtraining. Consistency can be a powerful tool, especially for mental resilience. Daily movement has helped me stay grounded, motivated, and sharp. But it’s not without consequences. I also talk candidly about the physical toll that relentless volume can take when recovery doesn’t keep pace, and why listening to your body is just as important as sticking to the plan. This video also highlights our final Saturday group ride of 2025. We knocked out 35 miles in incredible weather. Hard to believe for the last weekend of the year. Rides like this are a reminder of why community matters so much in endurance sports. One of the highlights was riding with my buddy Jim, who’s racing in the 70+ age group and preparing for an epic challenge: the Coast-to-Coast New Zealand race this February. He shares what this legendary event entails and why age is never a limit when the mindset is right. We’ll be cheering him on every step of the way. If you’re chasing consistency, longevity, and balance in triathlon training, this one’s for you. #Triathlon #IronmanTraining #EnduranceAthlete #ConsistencyOverMotivation #MentalToughness #Overtraining #TriathleteLife #SwimBikeRun #MastersAthlete #AgeGroupAthlete #TrainingMindset #CyclingLife #GroupRide #NeverTooOld #2025Training #teamrpmtriclub
