Ford Transit SWB Conversion - Self Build Campervan Tour

This video is about my SWB Ford Transit Camper van. Showing you how you can build a conversion to a high standard on a low budget also including everything that is needed for the perfect getaway or can be used as an everyday vehicle. I wanted a SWB Transit van because in the past have had large campers. I find, if the van is too large I have difficulty parking them. A smaller van is easier to drive and they fit into most park parking spaces. This camper is designed to have either a double bed or two single beds. When made as two single beds access to the toilet and kitchen area is much easier. I use Conti Boards for this conversion - These boards do come in various widths and all are 8ft in length. I find using these boards makes the build easier and cheaper than using caravan wall boards.
