I paint dot mandalas and a smooth surface is one of the three most important things I want besides paint consistency & dot placement. Unfortunately, most rocks have pits and imperfections that make it difficult to create nice round dots. Rough rocks are also a problem for those that do other art styles on rocks. This video shows how to fix this problem! After watching this video you will have learned how to make your rocks nice and smooth. You can do this even if you are in an apartment. I have another video that uses spackle to smooth rocks. While it works great, it is messy and requires an outdoor space. I find Rock Smoothing 2.0 much easier to do with no need for an outdoor space.
