The aim of this short video is to show how to apply Panpastel to Pastelmat using Sofft tools in a way that preserves the Sofft tool and stops it breaking up too quickly. As PasteImat is quite a 'toothy' textured surface it can cause the foam Sofft tools to deteriorate and I show you how to prevent this from happening. I also share how I experiment with the different colours that I'm planning to use in my artwork to make sure they work well together. Filmed in real time with commentary.
