Here is a full transcription of the video: My name is Daniel Ward and I’m a facial plastic surgeon in Salt Lake City, Utah. We have three medical spas in addition to my practice, as well as a surgery center. We started using EMA just about three years ago, and we've been very happy with the change. As I was going through the process of figuring out which system we wanted to switch to, I had one MA, who had worked with me for years, who said at a previous job she worked with EMA and it was the only EMR that she ever liked. And I've never heard anybody say that they liked an EMR. So I said, we've got to check this out. When I looked at it, the user interface was beautiful. I loved how it was cloud-based. I liked the fact that you could use tablets for it and thought that it made the patient experience a little bit better in the exam room instead of having a computer flipped up, or a screen that you're facing typing. We could just click through with an iPad. And I thought that made it a little bit more customer friendly, which I think is a huge part of what I do as a facial plastic surgeon, is the patient experience. So we want to really do anything we can to optimize that. Having a plastic surgeon who has been involved quite heavily in the development of the system. I think it is huge. It's really nice to be able to use a system that makes sense. It's not very difficult for new staff members to figure it out. I really feel that Modernizing Medicine is working towards trying to simplify the process and make it streamlined and easy for us so that when we have a new staff member start, it's not overwhelming learning 15 different systems with 30 different logins. So in contrast to some of the other systems that I've used, I’ve used probably three or four EMRs in depth. I think that it's a great system that's easy to use in terms of documentation, in terms of coding, and there's always really cool features that are coming out that help enhance that patient experience and also helps enhance the experience for us as the main users of the system. Change is hard, no matter how big or how small the change is. And for us, it was a little bit of short term pain, but just long term happiness and success. Happiness for me because it's a lot easier for me to do what I need to do. But also happiness for the rest of the staff.
