IAF Air show in Guwahati on 9 November 2025

The Indian Air Force is hosting the main public Air Force Day for the first time in Guwahati city on 9th November 2025. The Indian Air Force flying display will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati city from the northern and southern banks of Brahmaputra river on November 9 2025. 75 aircrafts will take part in the Indian Air Force Air show at Lachit Ghat in Guwahati city. Several dignitaries, including Air Force Chief Marshal AP Singh and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, will be present during the flypast on November 9, as part of the ongoing celebration of the 93rd Air Force Day, which began with a special parade at the Hindon airbase on October 8. Some of the fighter jet to take part in the air show are Sukhoi, Rafale, Tejas and Mirage. It will further include the Air Force’s Apache attack helicopters, which will fly with the call sign of rhinoceros, Assam’s national symbol. Indian Air Force's newest aircraft, the C-295 - military cargo aircraft, will fly in the Manas formation, and the Mirage fighter jets will be seen in the Kaziranga formation. The Rafale and Sukhoi fighter jets will fly in the elephant formation, while another Rafale, Mirage, and LCA Tejas will fly in the Barak formation over the Brahmaputra River. The fighter jet will take off from Guwahati, Tezpur, Jhabua, Hasimara, and Bagdogra.#assam #india #guwahaticity
