Most parts of Himachal Pradesh record above-normal temperature; Weather may change around March 11

Most parts of Himachal Pradesh recorded significantly higher-than-normal maximum and minimum temperatures, according to the Meteorological Department. The warm conditions are expected to persist for the next few days, with heatwave conditions likely in districts such as Mandi, Kullu, and areas around Solan. Officials have issued a yellow alert for these regions. Meteorologist Sandeep Kumar said daytime temperatures may remain unusually high until around March 11, when a slight increase in weather activity could bring some relief. Temperatures are expected to drop by about 5–7 degrees Celsius with the change in weather pattern.
