http://www.longplays.org Played by: MadMatty The Game of life, The classic Board Game adaptation for the PlayStation and PC developed by Mass Media and published by Hasbro Interactive in 1998. "Travel the Road to Success! The classic family board game loved by generations now comes to life with The Game of LIFE, choose college or a career, get married, start a family, buy a house, and eventually retire. Will you spend your golden years at Countryside Acres or Millionaire Estates? Take a spin and find out with The Game of LIFE!" Based on the Board game of the same name although it looks and plays differently to the original game released by MB I had growing up. The game is a good representation of the board game though with added narration, travel animations and mini cartoons that play depending on where you land. The good thing about these are that there are variations so that you rarely seen the same animation twice in a single game. In the longplay I play through both Enhanced and classic modes. The rules differ slightly between the two with classic mode having 'Life' cards that can be collected as you go round the board and cashed in at the end of the game. These are similar to Life Insurance cards you could buy at any time on the classic board game. The enhanced game allows you so spin the wheel on these spaces for a mini game allowing you to get a huge payout or even having to pay other players. I win the first round and lose the second. Nothing changes in regards to the ending or unlocks. Its interesting to note that it doesn't matter how much power you put on the spinner, the result will always be the same and it appears decided at the start of your turn so there is nothing you can really do to influence the result. 00:00:00 Enhanced Game 00:57:15 Classic Game 01:40:50 Credits Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
