As atademia, I like sharing the real side of studying and living in Germany. In this video, I talk about my own experience with health insurance as a master’s student in Würzburg. I filmed around Alte Mainbrücke and the quiet streets nearby, since the university is currently on break and the city has a different atmosphere during this time. I explain the basics of how health insurance works for international students in Germany, especially the difference between public insurance (GKV) and private insurance (PKV). I also talk about my personal setup: because I used Expatrio when I first arrived, I was placed with Ottonova. This video is not sponsored — it’s simply my honest experience using Ottonova as a foreign master’s student and how it fits into everyday life here. I also share what it feels like to navigate the system as someone new to Germany, how the process actually works in practice, and what stood out to me during my first year. This video is part of my ongoing journey as a master’s student, and my Year 2 Master’s Review is coming soon with more details about studying, living, and adapting to life in Würzburg. This video does not contain paid collaboration. #germanyhealthinsurance, #internationalstudents, #wurzburg, #würzburg, #expatrio, #ottonova, #gkv, #pkv, #studyabroadgermany, #germanymaster, #livingingermany, #germanystudentlife, #altemainbrücke, #atademia, #germanyvlog, #masterstudentgermany, #germanuniversity
