Art and Math with Paul Klee

Students can learn about geometry exploration and fractions using the visual arts as a medium. Students will learn about the Swiss-German painter, Paul Klee (1879-1940), to explore a variety of mathematics. Using blocks, markers, crayons or painting, students can create their own Klee-inspired artwork. Students can identify and use shapes to include in their artwork and also learn about fractions as they decode the number of each shape vs the total number of shapes they have drawn.
