Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Poland. A 4k video shot from a drone tells about the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. In this video review you will see the beauty of virgin nature and architecture of different styles and times from a bird's eye view. general information The Podkarpackie Voivodeship lies along the foothills of the Carpathians, part of it is located in the Sandomierz Basin and between the San and Vistula rivers. The region is considered to be the southernmost of all voivodships in Poland. This part of the country is less urbanized than other regions, less than half of the inhabitants are city dwellers. Moreover, the population is growing more than in other regions, although migration there is at a low level. Growth and high life expectancy of residents contributes to the beautiful nature, environmental friendliness, low stress and a healthy lifestyle. In addition to neighboring voivodeships, the region has a land border with Ukraine in the eastern part and with Slovakia in the south. Capital The administrative center of the region is the city of Rzeszow, on the territory of which a relatively small number of Poles live - about 188 thousand. Nature The northern part of the voivodship offers flat landscapes with small islands of pine and beech forests. The south-west of the region is rich in beautiful landscapes due to coniferous and broad-leaved forests located at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains. For water adventures, tourists go to the so-called "Bieszczady Sea" - the blue artificial lake Solinsky. Main cities: Rzeszow, Przemysl, Tarnobrzeg, Krosno Rzeszów - the capital - ran along the banks of the Wisłoka River. All of its architecture dates back to the 19th and 20th centuries and has characteristic features of classicism, neo-gothic and modern. The main and most interesting street of the city for tourists is May 3rd Street. In addition to the fact that it is pedestrian and includes buildings with restaurants and shops, the boulevard is an important historical center of the city. Przemysl is a city on the border with Ukraine, which once absorbed the Slavic spirit of the inhabitants of this country and still has not lost it. It can be conditionally divided into two parts: Polish and Ukrainian, which are no longer conditionally delimited by the San River. From an industrial point of view, Przemysl is the most important city, as it is a transit point in communication between Ukraine and Poland. Tarnobrzeg lay down on the banks of the Vistula River. The city became famous after the Second World War, when sulfur deposits were discovered on its territory, which made it an industrial center. On its territory there are many entertaining buildings in the Baroque and Gothic styles, some of which date back to the 14th century. Krosno is the oldest city in Subcarpathia, whose first settlements were formed in the first century. For a long time, the inhabitants of the city traded Hungarian wine, later the city became partly industrial thanks to oil deposits, but now the main area of industry and trade is the production of glass for various purposes. What to watch? Due to the almost virgin nature, the national parks in the voivodeship deserve special attention: Bieszczady and Magurski, a large number of landscape parks: Solska Forest, Elephant Mountains and others. It is worth taking a walk along the shores of the Solinsky or Mychakovsky lakes, as well as set sail on their waters. The Royal Mountains will become a place of strength and peace for lovers. Not far from the city of Sanok, you can stroll through the museum-reserve of national rural construction, on the square of which more than 100 wooden examples of architecture of Poles and Ukrainians have gathered. Attractions In the capital, the first and most important attraction is the Market Square, on which the famous Town Hall and the impressive Castle of the Polish magnates Lubomirski are located. Every year Rzeszów hosts the World Festival of Folklore Ensembles of Polish Emigration and the exhibition "Painting, Graphics, Sculpture of the Year", where you can get acquainted with the culture and history of the city and Poland as a whole. Not far from Przemysl there is a castle in Krasiczyn. Built for the Krasicki magnates, it combines all elements of Renaissance decoration. The castle has long been nationalized and functions as a museum. An important palace and park ensemble is located in Lancut. In addition to important art objects, as well as an extensive collection of sleighs and carriages, the castle is famous for music festivals with the participation of chamber music performers from around the world. #SubcarpathianVoivodeship #Poland
