Action Planning for Low-Carbon Sustainability in Health Systems & facilities, Session 1

3 June 2026, Session 1. This Technical Meeting, co-organized by Health Care Without Harm and WHO, provided a practical introduction to action planning for low-carbon sustainability in health systems and facilities. It featured: An introduction to useful tools and practical resources, including step-by-step approaches, to develop action plans for low-carbon sustainable health systems and facilities. Experiences and insights from various ATACH Members that have developed policies and actions using national level data (top down) and/or facilities level data (bottom up). A new diagnostic tool that can help countries identify their capacity, needs, and priorities for action planning. This meeting was the first in a series of Clinics that provided practical action planning support for health systems striving towards low-carbon sustainability.
