BJP Worker Beaten to Death in Bengal's Nodiya; Family Alleges TMC Hand | India Today News

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, Sanjay Bhoomi, was murdered in the Nodiya district of Bengal. According to initial reports, he was taken from his residence late on Thursday night and brutally beaten. He succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at a hospital. The family of the deceased alleges the involvement of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), stating that “one person that they have identified so far is said to be the driver of the local MLA.” Local BJP leaders have also pointed to the TMC being behind the act, describing Nodiya as a politically volatile district. The TMC has remained tight-lipped but has stated off the record that the party has no hand in the murder.
