In this video we visited M.D. Fishing Park. The lake is in sena just outside Ayutthaya about 1hr north of Bangkok. The lake is very close to Bung-Blar-Buk a lake I have already done several videos from. This is a vet cheap lake at only 50B a rod. During the day we had a load of striped catfish some small Mekong and a few nice pale Siamese carp. On the predator rod we had 2 giant gourami and an alligator gar that didn’t want to hang around for his photo. I was I little cautious about spending the day here as there is literally no information available about this lake. Google maps has 3 reviews none of them helpful. There is no Facebook page or YouTube videos and even when searching the name in Thai you find nothing. Given that the lake has been established for years and there is so little information the only conclusion I could come to is the lake was not worth the time of day as if it was there would be more information out there. Even some of the worst lakes I have fished in Thailand had more information around it that M.D. fishing park. Anyway, I am pleased to inform that this lake is a little gem hidden away from the world. The carp are all clean and of a nice size the problem is getting through the swai / striped catfish as there are a good number in the lake. We found if your bait lasted 10-15 minuets with out a bite you are more likely to get a carp. It the run came seconds after the cast out have hooked another swai.
