Join us as we explore the magical world of Gardaland - Italy’s #1 amusement resort. Being located next to Lake Garda, in northern Italy between Milan and Venice, and minutes away from beautiful Verona makes this a great spot to include when you're traveling with kids to these cities. Having said that, Gardaland resort is perfect for a day of family adventure packed with fun and excitement. The amusement park has many roller coasters including Magic Mountain, Blue Tornado, Sequoia Adventure, Mammut, Kung Fu Panda Master, Ortobruco Tour, Raptor, and Oblivion. It also has many water rides, including Fuga de Atlantide / Atlantis, Jungle Rapids, and Colorado Boat. Other popular rides include Ramses: il Risveglio/Dark Ride, Space Vertigo /Drop Tower, and Flying Island /Panorama Tower. Now that we have covered the best rides, let’s dive deeper into our Gardaland adventure! Before we go any further, we’d like to say a big THANK YOU to our awesome neighbors in Switzerland who gave us a discount coupon that took 50% off of our ticket price (the regular price for a 5-member family was €170). Despite the long ticket line, things were going fast and soon we were through the Gardaland gates. Now the dilemma was whether to start from the back or the front of the park in order to avoid huge waiting lines. To help us figure out the best route, we consulted the official Gardaland map that showed all the attractions and rides and the easiest way to get there. Since it was October, everything around was decorated in the spirit of Halloween, making the place magical and spooky at the same time. Angelique loved the hair-raising vibe and was eager to check out their haunted house. Our first ride of the day was the Mammut roller coaster which was fun but not nearly as bumpy and scary as the Blue Tornado we rode next. Next on the list were the Jungle Rapids, and once we were done getting splashed with water, we moved to the Magic House! We didn’t really know what to expect there, but it turned out to be a fun see-saw ride unlike any other we have ever been on before. Among the last rides we got on was the famous Raptor roller coaster which turned out to be the girls’ favorite too. There was so much to see and take part in that we probably needed two extra days to get to every attraction. But, we had to find time for the amazing Halloween-themed show at the Gardaland Theater. At the end of our amazing day, we saw the Halloween parade and slowly left the Gardaland resort wishing to come back soon! What’s your favourite theme park in the world?
