Wetlander Primer Application on Aluminum Riveted Jon Boat

Finally! Application of the Wetlander kit. We removed the old bottom paint from the jon boat and now we are applying the Wetlander Primer So the first part of putting a bottom coating or a bottom paint on your jon boat is in the video before this -    • Prepping Jon Boat for Bottom Paint   So I wasn't sure if I wanted to use the whole half gallon of primer so I split it in two. I mixed in the catalyst in one container while I left the other container with out the catalyst. I did this because of the pot life of the primer. It was just me applying it and I was sure I couldn't apply the whole half gallon of Wetlander Primer in under an hour. It took me around 5 hours to apply the whole half gallon of primer, and I was able to get 5 thin coats. Remember to start at the center of the boat and work towards yourself. Once I finished one side of the boat, the other side was dry and ready for another coat so there wasn't much wait time between coats. I was able to get all of my tools at lowes.
