Masai Mara, locally known simply as the Mara is a large national reserve in Narok County, Kenya. It is named in the honor of the Masai people. Blue wildebeest are the dominant inhabitants of the Masai Mara. Several species of antelopes such as Topi, Grant gazelles, Thomson's gazelles, Impalas are found here. All members of the Big Five - Lions, Leopards, African bush elephants, African buffaloes and black rhinos are found all year round.
