Initiated by former sarpanch Mr. Shyam Sundar Paliwal Ji in 2006, after severe deforestation and drought struck the village, this initiative also combats female foeticide. The trees, each representing a newborn girl, have revitalized the village's economy and environment, attracting attention for their successful model. The village celebrates this transformation annually on Rakshabandhan, with girls tying rakhis to trees named after them, symbolizing protection. Shyam Ji's efforts have been nationally recognized, earning him awards including the Padma Shri.
