Elle exposes inconsistencies in a witness's story, revealing the true culprit. The trial leads to Brooke's acquittal, and Elle's success transforms her relationships and prospects. Rejecting Warner's advances, Elle thrives at Harvard and forms a strong bond with Vivian, who had once been dismissive of her. Elle graduates with honor, and her romance with Emmett, Callahan's junior partner, blossoms, leading to a proposal.
