Last cover for May! I'm back with another full cover, this time it's A-ha's "Take on Me" Definitely one of the most iconic songs that popularized the music of the 1980s. This was such a treat to work on. Everything you hear is recreated by me. I used Arturia's Analog Lab V to make the synth patches as close to the original as possible. While I used LinnDrum samples to recreate the drums, shakers, hi-hats and the iconic gated snare. I also used a foley sample of a spoon and tuned it individually on the verse part to accentuate the instrumental melody there. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this one. This might be the most complex cover I've ever done yet. Cheers!
