ACA P-50 Tornado Siren Test, Jackson Park Milwaukee, WI 3/13/2024

Hello everyone. This is my (fourth) video of the ACA P-50 at Jackson Park in Milwaukee, WI. This was a normal second Wednesday noon test. I'm actually recording from near Union Pacific's (former Chicago & North Western) Mitchell Yard to the northeast of the siren. I chose this spot to record because it's the angle I used to see this siren from when riding past in the car when i was a kid. I was always drawn to the yellow siren standing prominently beyond the rail cars in the yard. Obviously, the rotation isn't functioning on this unit. I doubt it will be fixed before it is removed from service this year. I will definitely miss this one. This worked out kinda well to hear Milwaukee's surrounding sirens at an ambient level, though. Despite facing west, it got really loud during the alert portion of the test. Sorry about the glitch while zooming out near the end. I'm not sure what happened, this was my first siren recording on my new phone. I'll be continuing to record Milwaukee's system while the old sirens are still around. Thanks for watching and enjoy!
