They are believed to be dug in the 6th or 7th century by the Buddhist monks. A headless statue of Buddha was also found here which is currently kept in a museum. You will find this Temple Pond in the scenic village of Netravali the pond is famous for its Calm atmosphere. Mysteriously, the water in Pond respond to certain sounds like sound of clap and rise faster as we saw in the video how bubbles responded when birds were chirping around.
