We visit the famous Spanish Harlem aka East Harlem aka El Barrio, on this lovely warm Spring Day! We drive along 2nd and 3rd Avenues passing some historic landmarks and housing projects on the way. This neighborhood contains the second highest concentration of public housing in the United States, behind Brownsville. This is also known to be the most dangerous neighborhood in Manhattan. However like most of NYC, gentrification is in effect but how much has it changed? We take a stroll through this area to see the good, the bad, and the ugly for ourselves.
