The 100th ARTCaffè hosted Andy St. Louis. . One of the most insightful voices shaping how Korean contemporary art is perceived both in South Korea and abroad, Andy has been based in Seoul for more than a decade. Founder of Seoul Art Friend — a platform documenting the city’s vibrant art scene — and author of Future Present: Contemporary Korean Art, the first English-language survey of millennial Korean artists, he was recently appointed Director of Frieze House Seoul, which opened in September 2025. His trajectory marks a unique path from critic to curator to cultural leader. . Thanks to everyone who joined in person and online, and to the many connecting nodes who actively helped spread the word about this event — with a special mention to Jo Kane, who connected from Kobe (Japan) together with her enthusiastic audience. . ARTCaffè was founded in 2012 by Raffaella Gallo as a new concept of meeting, aiming to create a multicultural platform, to ignite a debate between people not strictly related to the art world, but sharing a passion or even a mere curiosity for art. A non-profit event, ARTCaffè holds monthly art talks in which a guest artist gives a speech to a multicultural and diverse crowd, activating a conversation among artists and art lovers.
