The Village Zendo's virtual zendo is privileged to present, “The Zen Peacemaker's Path,” a dharma talk in which Ryoshin Hoshi asks how we should practice and serve in this time of discord, fear, anger, and uncertainty. Our dharma grandfather, Bernie Glassman, offered us an answer in the Three Tenets of the Zen Peacemaker Order. Ryoshin and Bernie encourage us to penetrate the unknown, bear witness and heal ourselves and others. Don't wait! ---------------------------- The Village Zendo is a community of people who come together to practice in the Soto Zen tradition. Based in downtown New York City, we offer zazen (sitting meditation), one-on-one instruction with a teacher, dharma talks, chanting services, retreats, workshops and study groups.
