Oh so full of sketchy sh*t doing the DIY conversions and renovations of an old barn, whilst dancing with VERY tight deadlines, but that's practically our brand at this point, right?! This video shows almost everything from the dairy conversion into stables, right up until the day before the horses arrived at the farm in October 2024. It also includes other areas of farm prep for ponies, like a little bit of field prep, driveway prep, water sources, and more. 🎨 We have had a bit of a rebrand, because we've aged 400 years in the last year, and also because this branding will tie into things in the future if we hit our deadline. EEEEK. Almost all of this was done without any pro support (Can you tell? 😅 A roofer would have been SUPER!), and we were going to build some stables DIY too. The stables ended up being purchased just because of what we're planning to do here in the coming years with horses, but other than that, we repurposed, reclaimed (like the bricks!), begged (like family help), borrowed and only spent what was absolutely necessary based on the project at hand.
