The Apple QuickTake 200 was Apple's 3rd consumer digital camera, released approximately 1997. While anyone born before about 2017 takes digital photography for granted, at one point not so long ago it was new and very cool. But this video is much more than just an anatomy lesson of the Apple QuickTake 200. I discuss the history of digital photography and the circumstances which made the QuickTake 200 and its older siblings a "game changer" in photography. I also show the camera's internals and discuss one common failure mode of this camera.
