This is the last of a series of gear that I'm intending to sell. In this case, I'm demonstrating my Roland JV-1010 synth module, which hasn't seen much use since I brought a second-hand JV-1080. If you're interested in this unit, you may find it on ebay at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/263223685380 Like the JV-1080 that supersedes it, this synth sounds gorgeous and just improvising with most of its 640 presets is a source of joy and inspiration. It is also a 64-voice polyphonic and 16-part multitrimbal unit, with a full implementation of General MIDI (in addition to its own 16-part multitimbral sets), so you can see it as a very useful tool for backing tracks and the such. It has a 1U half-rack format, so it does not take too much space neither in the studio nor while travelling (it fits nicely in a backpack)... it weights about 1.6kg (with the PSU). Although it has 128 user editable patches, editing the sound is not possible on the unit (apart from some minor tweaking intended more for adjusting the sound to context rather than proper sound design). If you want to edit the sounds, you'll need a computer and an USB-MIDI interface. The editors for the JV-1010 are getting a little bit old, but they still run on Windows: SoundQuest Roland JV-1010 Editor (available at https://www.squest.com/Products/MidiQ... ), and JVEditW99 (available at https://nilsa.home.xs4all.nl/edinfo.htm ) For more information, please visit: http://filipe-teixeira.com Bandcamp: https://philipplus.bandcamp.com Follow me on Twitter: / philipplusmusic
